On August 7, 2024, history came alive at the Polo Club du Domaine Chantilly with the Paris Games Polo Challenge—a centennial tribute to the 1924 Paris Olympics. This commemorative match between the USA and France honored the last time the two teams played each other in the Olympic Games, exactly 100 years ago.

In a thrilling rematch, Team USA defended its historic win with a 10-7 victory over France, captivating a record crowd of over 2,000 attendees. The event drew Olympic Committee members, athletes, equestrian federation representatives, influencers, and celebrities, all gathered to celebrate the legacy of polo in Olympic history.

Guests were treated to a glamorous red-carpet entrance, a festive halftime divot stomp complete with champagne and commemorative hats, and a lively VIP post-game party featuring an unforgettable asado. With extensive media coverage and multiple ESPN broadcasts, the Paris Games Polo Challenge was not only a celebration of sport but a powerful reminder of polo’s enduring place in global culture.

You can now have a piece of history with Paris Games Polo Challenge merchandise at the USPA Shop.
